Challenges of Remote Learning in Rural Areas in India

Abstract

Remote learning has become a crucial alternative to traditional classroom education, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, its implementation in rural areas presents unique challenges that hinder its effectiveness. This paper explores the various obstacles to remote learning in rural areas of India, including technological, infrastructural, socio-economic, and educational challenges. The study also discusses potential solutions to mitigate these challenges and improve remote learning outcomes in rural settings.
