Abstract

The relationship between poetry and visual art has been an important area of artistic and cultural exploration throughout history, reflecting the deep connection between verbal and visual forms of expression. Both poetry and visual art communicate emotions, ideas, memories, and human experiences through symbolic language, imagery, rhythm, and creative imagination. the relationship between poetry and visual art and examines how these two artistic forms interact, influence one another, and contribute to contemporary aesthetic and cultural expression. The use of visual imagery in poetry and poetic elements in painting, illustration, photography, and multimedia art. Poets often create vivid sensory images through metaphor, symbolism, and descriptive language, while visual artists use color, composition, texture, and form to evoke emotional and narrative meanings similar to poetic expression. The interaction between text and image creates interdisciplinary artistic experiences that deepen audience interpretation and emotional engagement. Furthermore, how poetry and visual art collectively represent themes such as identity, memory, nature, trauma, spirituality, love, resistance, and social reality.
