Abstract

The representation of trauma through visual narratives has become a significant area of study in contemporary art, media, and cultural discourse. Visual narratives use images, symbols, colors, sequences, and multimedia forms to communicate experiences of pain, memory, violence, displacement, loss, and psychological suffering that are often difficult to express through language alone. how trauma is represented through visual storytelling in modern artistic and media practices and examines the role of visual narratives in shaping emotional understanding, collective memory, and cultural identity. the use of painting, photography, graphic novels, film, digital art, installation art, and multimedia expression in portraying personal and collective trauma
