The Reality of Psychosocial Support Among Women with Breast Cancer

Abstract

Breast cancer affects one of the most significat organs fom  womn. the breast is a symbol of feminity.sexuality.and motherhood, and a breast is a symbol of feminity, sexuality.and abreast cancer diagnosis is a profound shock, undergoing treatment for the painful and destresing effects can lead to feelings of inadequacy, helplessness, and marginalization the psychological, physical and even economic impacts of breast cancer and its treatement create critical need for various forms of social support.

    The study aims to investigate the role of social support and impact on the course of the disease among women withe breast cancer in Algeria, to achieve cource of desired results, the researcher employed a clinical approach,staduying,five cases using psychosomatic interviews and content analysis of the season social support assessment questionnaire..the findings revaluated that positive or negative perception of social support can influence the acceptance of chemotherapy treatments.
