Abstract

Regular physical activity is a key determinant of physical and psychological well-being. This paper explores the role of physical activity in enhancing quality of life across different age groups. Physical exercise contributes to cardiovascular health, muscular strength, mental clarity, and emotional stability.
The paper discusses the relationship between physical activity and reduced risk of chronic diseases such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders. Beyond physical benefits, regular exercise supports mental well-being by reducing stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms. Social forms of physical activity also promote social connection and motivation.
Barriers to physical activity, including sedentary lifestyles and environmental constraints, are examined. The paper concludes that promoting physical activity through education, urban planning, and workplace wellness programs is essential for improving overall health and quality of life.
