Abstract

Digital technology has become an integral part of modern life, influencing health and well-being in complex ways. This paper examines the positive and negative effects of digital technology use on physical and mental health. Technology offers benefits such as improved access to health information and social connectivity.
However, excessive screen time is associated with sedentary behavior, sleep disturbances, and reduced mental well-being. The paper discusses strategies for balanced technology use, including digital literacy and self-regulation practices.
The paper concludes that mindful and moderated use of digital technology is essential for maintaining health and well-being in the digital age.
