Abstract

Emotional well-being evolves across the human lifespan and is influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors. This paper examines emotional well-being from childhood through older adulthood, highlighting developmental changes and challenges at each stage.
The paper discusses how early emotional experiences shape coping skills and resilience later in life. Adolescence and adulthood are marked by identity formation, emotional regulation, and social relationships. In older adulthood, emotional well-being is influenced by health status, social support, and life satisfaction.
The paper concludes that promoting emotional well-being at all life stages is essential for overall health. Lifespan-focused interventions can enhance resilience, reduce emotional distress, and support healthy aging.
