Electric cars, often known as EVs, have emerged as a potentially useful option to address environmental issues and reduce reliance on fossil fuels in the transportation industry. In this article, the most recent trends and breakthroughs in electric car technology, as well as market dynamics, environmental implications, governmental actions, and future possibilities, are discussed. In the section on technological improvements, we discuss recent breakthroughs in battery technology, electric motor efficiency, and the incorporation of characteristics that enable autonomous driving.
