Abstract

Digital media has transformed human communication patterns, influencing how individuals interact, share information, and form relationships. This paper explores communication behavior in the digital age using human science frameworks. Online platforms enable instant global communication but also alter traditional modes of interpersonal interaction.
The paper analyzes how digital communication affects language use, emotional expression, and social bonding. While digital media facilitates connectivity and information access, it may also reduce depth of communication and increase misinterpretation. Human adaptability is evident in the emergence of new communication norms, symbols, and social etiquettes.
Understanding these changes is essential for addressing challenges related to misinformation, social isolation, and digital ethics. The paper concludes that human science research on communication provides essential insights into the evolving nature of human interaction in technologically mediated environments.
